The 55th Annual United States Senate Youth Program (Washington Week) will be held from March 4-11, 2016, in Washington, D.C. The event is sponsored by the Hearst Foundation in cooperation with the United States Senate and the education departments of all states. Two high school juniors or seniors will be selected from each state, the District of Columbia, and the Department of Defense Education Activity to attend this week-long educational program with all expenses paid for by the Hearst Foundation. The process is easy so get started.
1. Submit completed application form (signed by your Principal) and a copy of your transcripts to me by Friday, October 7, 2016

2. Take the exam
a. Oahu candidates will be administered the exam on Friday, October 14, 2016 at OCISS.
b. Neighbor island candidates need to arrange to have their school coordinator contact me to arrange for the examination materials.
3. If you qualify and make it to the finalist round, you will be invited to an interview on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 in person here at OCISS or by phone or online if preferable.
